Dear Families,

Summer Greetings to everyone! We hope you and your family are enjoying your time together during this summer break.  We want to thank you for a wonderful 2023 school year.  As we continue to plan and prepare for the 2024-25 school year we want to ensure that we provide relevant information to you and your families.

We are excited about the upcoming year and the opportunities that lie ahead.  Our faculty and staff are diligently working to prepare a learning environment for all students in which success is attained.  Our teachers will be in contact with families after July 15th to notify them of homeroom placements.  Be on the lookout for mailings or phone calls for this notification.  

We are also excited to welcome our new staff members to our team.  Mr. Chris Spurlock will be joining our staff this year as the BES PE Teacher.  Mrs. Krystal Hoff will be joining our staff this year as the 5th-8th grade Special Education Teacher.  Mrs. Carla Copous will be joining our staff this year as the ESL and Intervention Teacher.  

We want to send out another thank you to our community sponsors for their efforts in a School-Wide Student Supply Drive.  For the first time at Bradford Elementary School supplies will be provided for all students.  We feel truly blessed as a school district to be surrounded by so much positive support within our community.

On July 29th we will hold our annual Open House event.  We plan on staggering this event this year as a District.  Open House times for Pre-K and Kindergarten will be 5:00 - 6:00.  Open House times for 1st- 5th grades will be from 6:00 - 7:00.  Open House times for 6th - 12th will be from 7:00 -8:00.  Open House locations will be as follows:  Pre-K - 5 - Elementary Gym, 6-12 - BHS Gym.  The Health Department will be set up in both schools during this event to provide opportunities for immunizations if parents wish to access this service.  Additional details regarding Open House will be posted after July 15th.

Thank you all once again for your continued support.  Bradford Special School District has an amazing community filled with people who love our students and our school.  Our faculty and staff are forever grateful for the opportunities to serve our students in a nurturing environment that is supported so well by the community.  We look forward to seeing you all soon!!!
