Dear Parents / Guardians:

Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year!  We are thrilled to welcome our students and families back to school this year!  We hope that you were able to spend quality time with your children and make many new memories over the summer break.  Now it is time to look forward to a wonderful school year as we work together as a “TEAM” striving to provide an amazing educational experience for all students.

Our fantastic staff have worked hard throughout the summer to prepare for the school year.  Our teachers have been working in their classrooms, participating in professional development activities, and collaborating with their teams to ensure a great start.  We are very grateful for our custodial staff who have worked hard this summer to prepare our school facilities for a new start as well.

One of the greatest strengths our school has is the continued support of our community and families.  Thank you to all of our parents for placing a high value on the education of their children.  It is evident that this is a great deal of the success that occurs with our students and their growth each year.  Our school sincerely appreciates this opportunity to work with our families and community to ensure excellence in learning for our children.

This year will be filled with many new and continued initiatives. We will continue our focus on in-depth planning and delivery of state standards, developing and instructing our students from a “whole child” approach in which academic and social-emotional needs are taken into account, and, most importantly, continuing to provide the safest and most productive learning environment for our students.

We are excited about the new year and the endless possibilities to positively impact our students. The goal of the entire faculty is to make BES an exciting place for students to learn, explore, grow and create memories that will last a lifetime. We welcome any questions you may have prior to the start of the new school year.
